Signing with my children

When my son was just 7 months old, I decided I was going to teach him sign language.

I thought, what do babies do most? Eat, sleep, drink...sometimes they want more, they play and so on.

So, I taught him some basic words and he started signing by 8 months! He signed until he was about 2 years old, and by that time he had an extensive vocabulary for his age.

Now, I have an infant girl (born 12/20/07) and I plan on signing with her. I actually started already...teaching her milk, mommy, and brother so far!
