Baby Signing - How to Sign the word Water
Your infant son or daughter may be thirsty and simply want a nice cool cup of water. Not milk, not juice, but refreshing clear water! Now you
will know.
This sign uses the manual ‘w’ handshape from American Sign Language. (Not familiar with signing alphabet?)
You take this ‘w’ handshape and place this near the lower-right side of your chin/cheek area. Your palm should be facing left (or facing right, if you are using your left hand). Tap this right cheek/chin area twice. (Only your index (first) finger should be touching/tapping your lower-chin)
Please see pictures below for clarification.
